🦋 Butterfly Lifecycle Studies in Miss Stevens’ First Grade! 🦋
Miss Stevens’ first graders have been busy scientists over the past few weeks as they explored the amazing lifecycle of a butterfly!
The students began their project with tiny caterpillars and showed wonderful care and responsibility as they watched them grow and change. They carefully observed each stage as the caterpillars formed their chrysalises and patiently waited for the incredible transformation into butterflies.
Today marked a special moment as the class released their very last butterfly into the world! 🦋✨ It was a joyful celebration of learning, patience, and the wonders of nature! 🌿💛
Students from Mr. Riddle’s Ag class partnered with our Pre-K students for a hands-on planting lesson as part of their seed study. The Ag students took the lead in planning and guiding the activities, creating a meaningful learning experience for everyone involved.
Our Pre-K students colored their own “homes” and planted grass to grow a yard, while also working together to plant flowers in the planter box that Ag students built for the school a few years ago. 🌸
This was a great opportunity for our Ag students to step into leadership roles and for our youngest learners to explore through hands-on experiences! 🪴
Finally, the Titan JH Tracksters were able to have an outdoor. The wind became brutal, and ushered in biting cold temperatures after what started as a warm day. Titans did a great job and found success in the harsh elements, we are very proud of you all!!

Thank you to all of our families who took time out of their busy schedules to join us. We are grateful to Drayton Curling Club Gaming for providing us with the funds to host this event. It was so special to see our lunchroom filled with smiling faces, laughter, and time spent together. These are the moments our students remember and cherish!

The Summer EBT program provides food assistance to households with school-age children who are eligible for free or reduced-priced school meals during the summer when they don't have access to meals at school.

Angi, our dedicated business manager, works behind the scenes to make sure everything functions as it should. From budgets to details most of us never even see, her work keeps our school moving.

D was for Dance Day and we definitely brought the energy! 💃🕺From GoNoodle to freestyle moves, our classrooms were full of smiles, laughter, and lots of dancing. Such a fun way to learn and move!

👏 The Bomber Speech Team competed at the Region 3 tournament on Saturday in Park River. Congratulations to the team on their success, with each member placing in at least one of their events. Special congratulations to Stephanie, who had prequalified for the state tournament in Humorous Interpretation, and to Jonah, who qualified for the state tournament at regionals in Impromptu Speaking.
