Reminder: Drayton Public School will be hosting a Community Forum Meeting tonight at 7:00 PM in the DPS Gym.

This informational meeting will be to discuss finances for the Drayton Public School District and the potential for a general fund mill levy increase. We encourage all community members to attend, ask questions and gather information as we plan for the future of our school district.

There will be a burger feed starting at 5:00 PM to help support the Drayton Post Prom.

📢Pembina County Public Health will be at our school on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. They will be providing school required immunizations to students in grades 6 & 10, as well as providing puberty and hygiene education to 5th grade girls and 6th grade boys. PCPH is mailing 📫 immunization forms to each student in grade 6 & 10 that is due for school-required immunizations. Puberty education permission forms for 6th grade boys and 5th grade girls are being sent home today. ✅ Please return paperwork to the school office if any of the above applies to your student. Call Nurse Kallie if you have any questions or concerns!

Reminder that proper winter gear (coat, hat, gloves, boots, and snow pants) is required for all students in elementary school. Students go outside for recess most days. Also, students who ride the bus should at least have a proper winter jacket, as well as gloves and a hat, in case of emergency.

✏️Mrs. Dahl's 4th grade class went to Special Assignment Pizza today and learned about agriculture in North Dakota. Pizza can be made with dairy, livestock, vegetables, sugar, oils, and wheat - all grown in North Dakota! They ended the trip with lunch at Pizza Ranch, generously sponsored by Bombers PTO! A great time was had by all! 🍕

🌟Mrs. Lee and Mr. Smith's 3rd graders teamed up with Mrs. Schumacher's kindergartners to spend time reading! 📖

🏆 Congratulations to the Bomber Speech Team for a successful weekend at the Grand Forks Classic. Stephanie won fourth place in Humorous Interpretation and ninth place in Serious Prose. Jonah finished fourth in Radio Broadcasting. Way to go, Bombers! 🌟 Just a reminder that we will be hosting a tournament in Drayton on Saturday, March 14. If anyone is interested in volunteering, please contact Mrs. Rarick for more information.

The District 3 Boys Basketball game vs. Cavalier has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, February 28th) at 1:00 PM at the Larimore High School Gymnasium.

Tonight's District 3 Boys Basketball game against Cavalier has been postponed due to road and weather conditions. A make up time has yet to be determined. We will share that information once we have it.

Attention parents/guardians of out-of-town students: Due to icy road conditions and blowing snow, the buses will not run the out of town route today (2/27/26). If you'd like to pick up your students before the end of the day, you are free to do so. Please let the school know if you'd like your students to go to their storm homes. Thank you!

🚌💛 February is Love the Bus Month! 💛🚌 This past Sunday was Bus Driver Appreciation Day, and we want to give a BIG Bomber thank you to the incredible drivers who safely transport our students every single day. Through rain, snow, wind, and sunshine, your dedication, patience, and early morning smiles never go unnoticed. You are often the first face our students see each day and the last one before heading home — and that impact matters more than you know. We appreciate you, Mr. & Mrs. Riddle, Mr. Watts, Mr. Hills, Mr. Thompson, and Mr. Klein! 👏💛 Our Bombers PTO set up a "thank you station" to give our students the opportunity to share their thanks and gratitude for our daily route drivers! Take a peek at the kindness our students are sharing! 👀

The Drayton Bomber Speech team will be hosting a tournament at the school on Saturday, March 14. The team is currently looking for any volunteers willing to make or bring food items for the judges' room (ex. bars, coffee, water/soda, snacks, etc.) or anyone willing to lend a hand with the meet. 🗣️ Congratulations to the Drayton Bomber Speech team for their impressive finish in Park River on Saturday, their largest meet so far. Jonah placed 3rd in Impromptu Speaking, just missing state qualification following an unbreakable tie for first. Brooklynne earned 5th place with her Speech-to-Entertain, trying out a new speech for the first time. In Humorous Interpretation, one of the meet's biggest events, Stephanie won a 6th place finish, and Ruthie just missed out on placement rankings. Well done, Bombers! 👏

Congratulations to Alyssa Hoyles on an incredible 2nd place finish at the NDHSAA Girls State Wrestling Championship at 130 lbs! Your hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence were on full display all season long. Finishing as a state runner-up is an outstanding accomplishment, and we are so proud of the way you represented our team and school. Way to go, Alyssa! 👏🤼‍♀️

Due to Warwick not having enough players for a junior high or JV game, there will only be one varsity boys basketball game this evening. It will start at 5:45 PM.
