🧑‍🏭 👩‍🏭 Yesterday, our 7th grade took part in the Pembina-Walsh Manufacturing Day! It was a great day of hands on learning and exploring! 🚍

🌽🍂 A-maze-ing memories were made! 🍂🌽 Drayton Elementary students enjoyed a fun-filled field trip to the Grafton Corn Maze! From exploring the maze to spending time with classmates, it was a wonderful opportunity to learn, laugh, and make memories outside the classroom. ❤️🖤 A big thank you to Bombers PTO for making this experience possible and helping create special opportunities for our students! Your support makes a difference! ✈️

🌟 Empowering the next generation to make a difference! 🌟 Yesterday was a great day at the Tobacco Free ND Youth Action Summit in Fargo, where youth came together to learn, connect, and build skills to create healthier communities across North Dakota. 💙 Our school counselor, Ms. Logsdon, took four of our student leaders to the event for the day. This was made possible by a collaboration with Pembina County Public Heath and Tobacco Free ND. Together, we’re working toward a tobacco-free future!

On Monday, October 5, our 7-12 graders were invited to Cavalier Public School to hear guest speaker Rickey Bolden. Bolden, a former NFL offensive lineman who played for the Cleveland Browns, shared his experiences with the students, highlighting the key phrase, "Your attitude has a direct impact on your altitude." He encouraged students to focus on maintaining positive attitudes and using their words and actions to encourage the people around them!

Pembina County Public Health will be at our school Tuesday, October 27, 2026, to give influenza and school-required immunizations. Every student will receive paperwork sent home the week of 10/19 to be filled out and returned to the school office if you request your child to be vaccinated.

School picture retakes will happen at Tweten's Studio in Grafton on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 1-6pm. If you have questions or did not receive photos you ordered online, please call the studio at 701-352-1513.

🍂 FFA members will volunteer to rake leaves for local community members who may need extra help with fall yard cleanup. This community service project gives students the opportunity to give back, help their neighbors, and demonstrate the FFA values of leadership, service, and responsibility. 💙

🌱🐾 Mrs. Sugden’s 6th grade class had a great day at the Pembina County Eco-Ed Event today! Our students got to get outside, explore, learn about the environment, and experience hands-on activities with our community. 🌎🔎 We’re so thankful for opportunities like this that make learning come alive outside of the classroom! 💚

There’s something special about getting our youngest students involved in athletics early! These opportunities are about so much more than a game—they’re about building school spirit, creating connections between our youngest students and our athletes, and giving kids the chance to see themselves as an important part of the Bomber and Titan communities. That’s a wrap on two fun-filled weeks with the Prairie Public Learning Express! ❤️📚🧪🎨 Our students had so many opportunities to explore, create, build, imagine, problem-solve, and PLAY with the 14 different activity bins aboard the Learning Express! We kicked things off with dramatic play, explored hands-on activities throughout the two weeks, and discovered that the Cardboard Makedo was a HUGE hit! And, of course, since the Learning Express joined us during Homecoming Week, we had to make sure Elmo and Grover were ready to cheer on the Bombers! ❤️🖤 Thank you, Prairie Public, for bringing this amazing resource right to DPS.

🎨🖍️ Homecoming Week Coloring Contest! 🖍️🎨 Our elementary students kicked off Homecoming Week on Monday with a coloring contest in celebration of National Coloring Day! ❤️🖤 Congratulations to our winners from each grade! 🏆 We are so proud of all of our creative artists who entered the contest. The fall visit from the Seal!ND dental hygienist will be Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The only students who will receive treatment are the ones who have a "yes" consent on file. The hygienist will visit one more time in the spring with the date TBD. If you have any questions, please call the school office. 🪥🦷
