A heartfelt thank you to the Drayton American Crystal Sugar employees for their incredible generosity and community spirit! 🍎✨ Employees recently held a hot dish cook-off, where they donated money for the chance to sample and judge each delicious dish. Thanks to their kindness and teamwork, the funds raised were used to purchase snacks for our elementary students. Employees who delivered are pictured above from left to right: Tara Jarshaw, Jami Melland, and Samantha Bratlie. We are so grateful for partners who go above and beyond to support our kids. Your commitment to our students’ well-being truly makes a difference in their school day. 💛 Thank you, American Crystal Sugar, for investing in our students and our community!

The site offers plans and clubs centered on learning and culinary skills that will last a lifetime! I've used recipes from the site in the After-School Cooking Class, and the kids love them. They are very easy, versatile, and quite yummy! I've even purchased the club for my grandchildren to enhance their learning and creativity.

🌟 October Students of the Month 🌟 The Drayton Education Association would like to announce the return of DEA Student of the month with October’s outstanding students. The following students were nominated by Drayton Public School faculty and staff and voted upon by the Drayton Education Association to recognize them for their academic achievements, citizenship, leadership, and overall character. The October DEA Students of the Month are as follows: High School- Hailey Uggerud, Freshman: Hailey is a hard worker at school as well as the extracurricular activities she is involved in. She was a leader at the National FFA Convention and made sure her schoolwork is always completed at a high level. She has given her time with volunteering to tutor other students. Hailey is a model example of excellence. Elementary- Erich Hoyles, 6th Grade: Erich is a hard-working student in school and continues asking questions and working to be successful. He participated in both football and basketball at the same time and did them with a smile on his face. He steps up to help when things need to be done and goes out of his way to get everyone a smile, high-five, hug, or any greeting at all. Erich is a wonderful example of determination.

🎶 'Tis the season for Christmas Concerts! 🎶 Please join us on December 1 and December 8 to celebrate the season with our students! This year, we are having two separate concerts. These events are open to the public, and we encourage everyone to attend!🎄

All elementary students are invited to attend this event!

The 8th grade North Dakota Studies class ended their week with a treat. After studying soil layers, they were given materials, made a plan, and assembled their own edible soil creations. It was a great way to close the week!

ASP Thursday Cooking Class

There will not be a cooking class after school today. Sorry for the short notice.

The Great Plains Mobile Food Bank will return to Drayton on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

🍂🧡 Our Thankful Chain Has Begun! 🧡🍂 At ESP today, our students started a Thankful Chain to celebrate all the wonderful things in our lives this November! Each student wrote down three things they’re thankful for and added their colorful links to the chain. 🔔 All students will be dismissed at 1:30pm tomorrow (11/6/25). Parent-Teacher Conferences will occur from 2pm-7:30pm with our family engagement night happening simultaneously in the gym! We hope to see everyone there! ✏️

🎃👻 What a spooktacular day at Drayton Public School! 👻🎃 We kicked off the morning with a costume parade, followed by an exciting send-off for our Bomber football team as they head to the 6-Man State Championship! 🏈💣 Our K–6 students spent the afternoon rotating through classrooms for Halloween games, activities, and prizes—a huge thank you to all of our amazing elementary teachers and principal for planning such fun and memorable experiences for our students! 🍬🕸️ Best of luck to the DVE Lady Titans as they compete in the District 3 championship Monday night, and to our Bombers as they take the field this afternoon ! 💥 🎃 We hope you all had a happy, safe, and fun Halloween! 🎃 #WeAreDrayton #BomberPride #TitanStrong
