Hello from FCCLA!!!
Our group will be selling wreaths this fall from Mickman Brothers, located in Minnesota. There will be wreaths of different designs, swags, a miniature tabletop tree, and a table centerpiece.
The members will begin taking orders in mid-Oct until mid-Nov. There will also be an online option to order for loved ones called GiftitForward.com that will be delivered until mid-December. Once our sale begins, I will share the QR code and our fundraising code here on the school page. There will also be posters put up around town with the information also.
So get ready to decorate for the holidays when FCCLA comes around with their wreath fliers! Thank you all for your support!

Your Drayton Bombers are heading home with a 61–12 victory over the Center-Stanton Wildcats! 💥
Quarterback Max Foss Pokrzywinski led the offense with 4 touchdown passes, connecting twice with Brayden Klimpel, once with Chey Sehrt, and another with Trenten Keena.
Keena also powered the ground game, finding the endzone 3 times on rushing scores.
On defense, the Bombers flew around making plays all night. Mason Pollestad came up big with 2 key sacks in the game while Trypp Castillo grabbed an interception and returned it for a momentum-shifting play.
Next week, the Bombers return home to face the New Town Eagles.
🔥 Come out and support your Bombers! 🔥

Hello all!
The FCS (Home Ec) room is in need of pint and quart canning jars, lid sets, and canning tongs. I have one large hot water bath pan and will be bringing mine from home. If you have extra small cucumbers, beets, or watermelon, we can put those to good use!
Thank you, everyone, for your support!

There will not be sewing club this week due to a scheduling conflict. The next date will be posted soon. Sorry about the inconvenience.

We are excited to add a new selection to our elementary library this week! How to Catch a Wild Pizza is the latest release from our very own Nathan Aufenkamp, Class of 2012. The students have been interested to hear that the story was written and illustrated by someone who went to school in Drayton, and have been entertained by his fun, imaginative book. Pictured are the students in Mrs. Dahl's fourth grade class, who were the first lucky group to hear this story.

As part of their unit on prehistoric eras of North Dakota, the 8th grade North Dakota Studies class made a piece of history today by creating their own imprint fossils.

September is Great Plains Food Bank Truck Delivery! The truck will be here on Sept. 4th & we will begin intake at 3:45 at the front of the school as before. Items on the list are apples, peaches, potatoes, beef, and the dry goods box. We look forward to seeing everyone!

📚✨ It’s been a busy and exciting start to the school year here at Drayton!
✅ Our FFA members hit the ground running, visiting local businesses and asking for sponsorships to support their upcoming events.
✅ Our Ag, Power & Technology (APT) students jumped right into hands-on problem solving activities.
🤖 And to top it off, we had a surprise guest visit who gave students an inside look at the precision and possibilities of robotics!
We’re off to a strong start and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store. 💙💛 #DraytonPublicSchool #DraytonFFA #HandsOnLearning #NorthValleyCTC

Hello from the FACS room! We are looking for anyone who grew dill over the summer and has a little extra they could spare for a pickling project. Mr Riddle loaded us up with some pickling cucumbers, and we want to use them to experiment with flavors and learn to water-bath can. Thank you, everyone, for your support and donations! It really helps the kids with their learning projects.

Come join the school newspaper!! The goal is to get the school newspaper back up and running. Don't worry, though! We will still be submitting pieces to the Valley News!
Grades 7 - 12 accepted. A sign-up will be in the office starting tomorrow. It's a great extracurricular that looks fantastic on school transcripts. We'll need writers, photographers, paper layout, and proofreaders/editors! If curious, but want more information, stop by and see Mrs. Quimby in the FACS room.
