The Drayton FFA Chapter was honored to be asked to help build new park signs for the Drayton City Park!
This project gave our members a chance to put their skills to work while giving back to our community. From planning and construction to the finishing touches, our students took pride in creating something that will be enjoyed by residents and visitors for years to come.
A big thank you to everyone involved in making this project possible. We are proud of our students for representing Drayton FFA through hard work, craftsmanship, and community service.

Congratulations to Jerimiah on his incredible accomplishments during his recent trip to Florida for the National Cook Around the World cooking competition! 👨🍳🌟
Out of nearly 700 participants, Jerimiah and his team earned the judges’ award for “Harmony in the Kitchen” — an outstanding recognition of teamwork, creativity, and culinary skill! 🏆
Jerimiah was also personally recognized by celebrity chef Duff Goldman with a Judge’s Spotlight Award, a special honor given to only a select few participants. Each judge had just five spotlight awards to give, making this achievement even more impressive!
We are incredibly proud of Jerimiah for representing our community with such talent, dedication, and passion. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition and unforgettable experience! 🎉

🌎🛶 Our 4th-6th grade students recently participated in an exciting learning experience called River of Dreams!
Students explored and learned about the watershed systems around us and discovered how our local waterways connect to much larger bodies of water. As part of the project, they launched small tracked canoes into the Red River, each with its own tracking number, with the hope that they will travel all the way to the ocean in Hudson Bay! 🌊
This hands-on experience gave students a deeper appreciation for our environment, geography, and the important role waterways play in connecting communities and ecosystems. We can’t wait to follow the journey of the canoes and see how far they travel!
Great job to our students and staff for making learning come alive through exploration and discovery! ❤️🖤

Pre-K and 3rd grade had a blooming good time at Main Street Floral & More! 🌸🌼🌿
Students learned how floral arrangements are created, how flowers are kept fresh, where flowers come from, and explored the cooler filled with so many beautiful types and colors of flowers. Each student even got to take home special flowers just in time for Mother’s Day!
After flower fun, they stopped next door at Blue Fox Coffee Shop for a treat. ☕💙
This hands-on experience connected perfectly to learning about plants and seeds while giving students a chance to explore creativity, science, and teamwork together.
Thank you to Main Street Floral & More for such a fun and welcoming experience! 💐
A special thank you to the Bombers PTO for making this fun learning opportunity possible for our students!

📚❤️ Today was S day in the Drayton Public School A to Z countdown! We combined “Story time with a Bomber Legend" and celebrated with Nurse Kallie on School Nurse Day! ❤️📚
We were honored to welcome Bomber Legend Mr. Murph Thompson, who shared the story “Be Brave, Little One” with our students. Nurse Kallie read us “The World Needs Who You Were Made To Be.” 🌟
Both stories carried meaningful messages that encouraged our students to:
✨ Persevere through challenges
✨ Appreciate and celebrate differences
✨ Choose kindness and bravery
✨ Be confident in who they are and strive to be their very best
Thank you to Mr. Thompson and Nurse Kallie for taking the time to inspire our students through the power of reading and positive role models. ❤️🖤

📚✨ Tuesday was “Read Somewhere Fun” Day at Drayton Public School! ✨📚
From cozy corners and classroom forts to creative spots around the school, our students and staff found all kinds of fun places to dive into a good book! 📖💡
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for continuing to encourage a love of reading at DPS! ❤️🖤

Happy School Nurse Appreciation Day to our amazing Nurse Kallie! ❤️
Thank you for the countless ways you care for our students each day — from bumps and bruises to big worries and everything in between. Your kindness, patience, and caring heart help keep our school healthy, safe, and supported. We are so lucky to have you as part of our Bomber family!
