FCCLA Wreaths & Swags
The group has two wreaths and a number of swags left from our fundraiser that are for sale directly. We will have them at the Old Fashioned Christmas Market on Saturday as well. They smell fabulous! Come and take a look at what we have left! You can contact Mrs Quimby at the school if you are interested.

Due to the inclement weather over night, school and buses will be 2 hours late tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10th at Drayton Public School. There will be no morning ESP. Any further updates, if necessary, will be sent out in the morning.

❄️ Due to predicted weather, Drayton School will dismiss at 12:00 noon today (12/9/25). Buses will run at that time. If you would like to pick up your student(s), please let us know.

🌾💙 Drayton FFA wrapped up a very busy — and very successful — week! 💛🌾 On Wednesday, five members competed in Leadership Development Events (LDE), and every single one placed! 🏅 Jonah – High Silver, Prepared Public Speaking 🏅 Melissa – High Silver, FFA Quiz 🥉 Hailey – Bronze, FFA Creed Speaking 🏅 Brooklynne – High Bronze, Employment Skills/Interview 🥉 Gavin – Bronze, FFA Quiz On Friday, twelve Drayton FFA members traveled to Crookston for the ANRAD Invitational, competing across several contests: 🐾 4 students in Small Animals 🌱 4 students in Agronomy 🦌 3 students in Wildlife 🐑 1 student in General Livestock It was a packed week full of learning, leadership, and hands-on experience — and we couldn’t be more proud of how our students represented Drayton FFA. The Great Plains Mobile Food Pantry scheduled for today at DPS has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date.

The Great Plains Food Truck will be at the school tomorrow. It opens at roughly 3:30 if items are unloaded & sorted.

ASP Cooking Class Update for the week of Dec 8 - 12 -
Those students who attend on Tuesdays can participate on Thursday this week. Due to the Great Plains Food Bank truck on Tuesday, which FCCLA hosts, I'll be unavailable. Thursday will be open to any of those kids who would like to attend.

FCCLA CHRISTMAS WREATHS

Wreaths will arrive tomorrow and will be sorted for members to begin delivering asap. There will be a few extras in different designs, and possibly some table toppers, for sale.

FYI: Butter Braids Spring Fundraiser in time for Easter! Members will be selling Butter Braids this spring, with items arriving before Easter.

After-School Cooking Class!!!
I want to invite Tuesday's class to Thursday's class this week! Let's make up the day & make a fun & healthy snack with a holiday theme!! If kids miss their day, they can make it up in another class. The more the merrier!

The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (ND BCI) will provide age-appropriate educational presentations designed to help students navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. They will be at our school the morning of Wednesday, December 3, 2025 for grades K-12. These sessions will address key topics such as cyberbullying, sexting, and sextortion, explaining the real-world risks and legal consequences in terms youth can understand. They will also emphasize practical strategies for staying safe online, including protecting personal information, recognizing unsafe or manipulative behavior, and avoiding contact with strangers or unsolicited friend requests on social media. The goal of the program is to empower students with the knowledge and confidence to make safe choices, seek help when needed, and contribute to a positive online environment. This opportunity is being made available to local schools through the Pembina County Behavioral Health Coalition. If you have any questions, please contact the school at 454-3324.
