Hello! Hard to believe school starts next week! Wow! Also returning is 4-H! Our first scheduled date is Aug 14th @ 7 pm in the FCS room. 4-H is open to ages 5-18, and for junior & high school, the skills & activities are aligned with Ag Ed & FCSE (FFA & FCCLA). 📣 An update on the After School Program 📣 At this time, Drayton Public School is working to ensure the availability of our after school program. Due to the uncertainty of funding and the delayed notification of our possible grant award, we will not be able to start ASP right away when school starts. If we are able to make an after school program work, we will start on Tuesday, September 2nd. Once we receive notification from the state, we will let everyone in the school community know what our plans for ASP will be. We apologize for any inconvenience this creates. Girls Golf starts August 4th!
Here’s what the first few weeks of practice will look like:

📍 Week 1 (Aug 4th–8th):
🕤 Practice at 9:30 AM, Monday–Thursday
📍 First practice will be held at the football field

📍 Weeks 2 & 3:
🕞 Practice moves to 3:30 PM at the golf course every day

⚠️ Reminder:
All concussion forms, physicals, and athletic fees must be completed and turned in before you can practice.

Reminder Bomber 4-H families!
The next scheduled meeting is August 14th @ 7 pm in the FACS room.
We are always open to new members and families! Kids need to be between the ages of 5 and 18. Younger siblings are welcome to participate in club projects with parental help.

✅ Concussion forms and sports physicals must be completed before the first day of practice for any fall sport.
💵 Don’t forget to turn in your athletic participation fee as well.

Held this Thursday and Friday, our young athletes worked hard, learned a lot, and had a ton of fun along the way. 🎯 STATE TRAP SHOOTING RECAP! 🎯 Congratulations to our incredible students who competed at the State Trap Shooting Competition! Drayton FCCLA will be holding a 2-day Pop-Up Yardsale Fundraiser on June 19th & June 20th from 10 am to 5 pm in front of the school. If you have anything that you would like to donate, donations will be taken between 8 am and 10 am. The kids look forward to seeing everyone!
