J is for Join Us for Breakfast…and what a joyful morning it was! 🍓🧃💛 Thank you to all of our families who took time out of their busy schedules to join us. We are grateful to Drayton Curling Club Gaming for providing us with the funds to host this event. It was so special to see our lunchroom filled with smiling faces, laughter, and time spent together. The Summer EBT program provides food assistance to households with school-age children who are eligible for free or reduced-priced school meals during the summer when they don't have access to meals at school.

🌱✨ Community Clean-Up Day Success! ✨🌱 What a wonderful success our Community Clean-Up Day turned out to be! Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our amazing students and staff, our community is looking cleaner, brighter, and more beautiful than ever. Your time and teamwork truly made a difference, and we are so grateful to everyone who pitched in to help. 🧹💚 A special thank you to Mr. Ron Boll for taking the time to meet with our whole school and share his knowledge about the importance of planting and growing trees in our community. 🌳 His passion and expertise helped us better understand how trees support a healthier environment, provide shade, and create a lasting legacy for future generations. We appreciate everyone who contributed their time, energy, and knowledge to make today such a success. Together, we are making our community a cleaner, greener place to live! 🌎💚

🖤❤️Today we celebrate two incredible women who keep our school running smoothly every single day, our Administrative Professionals, Denise and Angi! Denise, our amazing school secretary, is often the first face you see and the voice you hear. She keeps our days organized, our students cared for, and our school connected. From answering calls to calming worries and everything in between, she does it all. Angi, our dedicated business manager, works behind the scenes to make sure everything functions as it should. From budgets to details most of us never even see, her work keeps our school moving. Denise and Angi, we are so grateful for your hard work and the care you show our students, staff, and community. Our school simply wouldn’t be the same without you! 👏 Happy Administrative Professionals Day! 🥳

D was for Dance Day and we definitely brought the energy! 💃🕺From GoNoodle to freestyle moves, our classrooms were full of smiles, laughter, and lots of dancing. Such a fun way to learn and move!

🌎 The public is invited to join in on our efforts to tidy up our town on Earth Day! 🌳Thank you City of Drayton and Bombers PTO for your collaboration! When students are done cleaning up our community, Mayor Chip Olson as well as former DPS educators Ron Boll and Bob Merrill will speak with our students about citizenship and caring for our Earth! 🌟 We are looking forward to a great day! ☀️

🎨C is for Chalk the Walk! Our alphabet countdown brought us to Tisdale Manor today! Students took a quick break to get outside, greet our neighbors, and leave them with some wonderful art! ☀️

Students will have the chance to explore exciting new books, discover favorite authors, and build their home libraries. 👏 The Bomber Speech Team competed at the Region 3 tournament on Saturday in Park River. Congratulations to the team on their success, with each member placing in at least one of their events. Special congratulations to Stephanie, who had prequalified for the state tournament in Humorous Interpretation, and to Jonah, who qualified for the state tournament at regionals in Impromptu Speaking. 💧🌎 What a splash-tastic day of learning! Mrs. Dahl’s 4th graders headed to the Walsh County Water Festival in Park River today, and it was full of hands-on fun! Students dove into exciting activities where they explored how water moves through streams, discovered how contamination can affect our water, followed the journey of a water droplet through its cycle, and learned about pollution and how it impacts our world. We’re so proud of these young scientists for asking great questions and soaking up so much knowledge! 💙💦
