🌟It’s School Board Appreciation Month, and we would like to take some time to recognize our very own Drayton Public School Board! 🏫 Pictured here from left to right: Michael Emanuelson, Mark Hatloy, Jessica Hermanson, Reid Christenson, and Randy Corrick are the faces of the individuals who keep our school running smoothly. Each of them take time away from their own families and jobs to serve in this capacity. They work tirelessly to make impactful decisions for the future of our students, staff, and community! We are grateful for all of their strengths and perspectives. 🖤❤️ DPS School Board, we are proud of your leadership, teamwork, and commitment to our school! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! 👏🏻

Drayton Sewing Club met for the first time yesterday evening, There were a dozen made up of students and adults who were present as we went over good days and times to hold meetings, and shared with each other what we would to work on for projects. There were many for crochet & sewing clothes, even mention of some quilts to raffle off for the next River Fest. It is informal, and drinks & snacks are allowed to get us through some heavy learning & activities. Please spread the word to other communities to join us when they can! The next meeting is January 29th at 6:30 pm in the FACS room. We would like to see more boys or men crafters as well. The Sewing Club projects also fulfill requirements for 4-H, Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts, and FCCLA. FACS is still taking donations of material, yarns, embroider equipment, knitting needles & crochet hooks, anything related to sewing. The students and I can' not thank each and everyone enough for their generous donations to the FACS room. We are lucky & blessed. Thank you to all.
