Good morning!
On Tuesday, April 12, the 7th and 9th graders from Drayton Public School joined Pembina, Walhalla, Crystal, and Cavalier 7th & 9th grade students for the Pembina County Behavioral Health Coalition Teen Maze event. Students visited the “Clothesline Project” to learn about the impacts of violence in our community, experienced distracted and impaired driving simulators from the ND Highway Patrol, and walked through real-life behavioral health scenarios as they navigated the teen maze. The teen maze is designed to teach students the reality of their decision making, as well as introduce them to community resources that can be accessed in a time of need. They were able to meet these community leaders face to face as they walked through the maze and learned about healthy behaviors and ways to cope.
