Titans Attend Red River Valley Conference Outdoor
The Titans traveled to Mayvileto take part in the Red River Valley Conference Outdoor Invitational, it wasa s nice of a day as the teams have experienced so far this season. The Titans took advantage of the tough competition and nice weather, with many athletes turning in personal best efforts. A number of Titans had personal best marks but could not crack the top 8 in the strong competition. Great job Titans

Titan Varsity Boys Win Grizzly Invite
The DVE Varsity Boys won the Grizzly Invite Track Meet on Thursday 5-4-23. The Titans used a total team effort and numerous personal and season best efforts to come away with the Team title. The Titans scored 156 for first place honors followed by PRFL’s 116, and Grafton’s 115 points. The Varsity Titan Ladies team was 3rd , JH Girls placed 4th, and with 3 boys (as a couple JH boys ran varsity) placed 4th putting 62 points. The Titans won all 4 divisions of pole vault, Mackenzie Sherrill JH Girls; Easton Larson Varsity Girls, Cater Johnson JH Boys and Grant Vold Varsity Boys. The Titans also won divisions of the HH Varsity Girls Elizabeth Fedje 100HH, Andrew Myrdal Varsity Boys 110s and Finnegan Burrell JH Boys. The Titan Boys ran season best outdoor times in all 4 relays; The 4X800 Relay of Gavin Ryan, Daniel De Souza, Sam Kittelson & Harley Hilde knock an impressive 30 seconds off their time. In the throws Christine O’ Toole had PR in her shot put getting her first ribbon, Emily Williams has PR’s the last 3 meets in the shot put. Bryce Wimpfheimer and Grant Uggerud PRs in shot put and Uggerud and De Souza PRs in Discus. The Titans had many other PRs in all the divisions. Great job all by all the Titans!!

Track News from Spoiler Invitational 5-2-23
7th Grader Violet Hoyles runs well again breaking the outdoor 1600 record by 12 seconds running an impressive 6:14.16 erasing the old record of 6:26.46 by Morgan Emanuelson 2012.
Titan Varsity Boys won the Grafton Spoiler Invitational putting up 116.5 points, out lasting 2nd place Grafton 109, Langdon Area Ed-Munich 101.33 and May-Port CG-FS 94. Varsity Girls 4th 94 points; JH Girls 6th 55.5 points, and JH Boys tie 5th 47 points.

Track News from 4-29-23
Many of the Titan Tracksters set new personal records on the weekend the JH in the comfort of the Fritz Pollard HPC at UND or the Varsity battling 25-30 mile an hour winds and cold in Rugby.
7th Grader Violet Hoyels crushed the girls indoor 1600 record by 26 seconds running an impressive 6:27.25 the old mark was set in 2018 by Emilee Reilly at 6:53.67.
The 3man team of 8th Grade Boys: Trenten Bronson-Keena, Carter Oberg & Carter Johnson won the Grand Forks Still Indoors Invite scoring 63 points out distancing the 2nd place Twining Middle School’s 47 points. A great accomplishment winning the team title in the 13team competition.
The varsity Titan boys and girls teams both finished 13th over all in the 32 team meet that featured many events with 80 or more competitors.

Brady Reilly broke Jared Homstad’s 400 dash record of :54.96, with a very impressive indoor time of :53.52. The 4X400 (1600) Relay of Trenten Bronson-Keena, Andrew Myrdal, Isaac Feltman & Reilly went 3:51.58 to topple the 2004 team time of 3:55.68 Josh Korczak, James Thompson, Mike Schumacher & Kevin Cicchini. In the 110 HH Feltman broke Dylan Meader’s 2018 time of :19.38 with a :19.34 only to have team mate Myrdal erase that mark 5 minutes later with a :17.28. Myrdal ran a very impressive 300 Int. H time of :44. 05 to establish that mark. Elizabeth Fedje set 3 new Titan records: winning the 100 HH :17.11 old record Laiken Larson :18.29 from 2018; taking down Taylor Reilly’s long jump mark of 14’ 4” from 2018 going 14’ 8.25”. Fedje won the 300 Int. H. with a very solid :50.08 establishing that mark.
