Drayton Public School's first Future Farmers of America (FFA) meeting is next Tuesday 8/29/23 @ 6:30pm. Parents are welcome to come! We will be voting for officers, as well as planning the year!


Gracie the Therapy Dog will be visiting our school on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 9am to 2pm! Please call the school if you would like your student to have an individual appointment with her.



A letter to patrons:
Hello, I am Michael Babinski your new superintendent. I am writing to you to let you know that Drayton Public School is alive and well.
We ask that you give us time to get everything in order. We know we will make mistakes, but with your help, we will all get through this shining brightly.
Jeremy Lund is your K-12 principal, he is new to the job, as am I, so please give him the courtesy and help that he needs.
Our staff is pretty much set, with new people being Ann Kraft - Title I Math, Katie Dahl - 2nd grade, Raven Smith – 4th grade, Allison Ososki – 5th and 6th grades, Jamie Rarick – 7th-12th English, Matt Rarick – 7th – 12th Math, Kerri Stegman – 7th and 8th Life Skills, Ms. Logsdon – 7th and 8th Study Skills and 12th grade Career Exploration, Tyber Pokrzywinski – 7th – 12th grade Social Studies, Sue O’Neil – Music, Nathan Foster – PE and Art, and Adam Riddle - 7th – 12th grade Ag courses.
Kyle Truesdell is our new HS Custodian and Lori Bromfield is coming back to be our 3rd grade teacher. Also, if you didn’t know, Angela Aasand is our new business manager. We also have 4 new paras throughout the school.
If anyone wants to help out, please contact the school. We need drivers for practices and games, timekeepers, scorekeepers, line judges, ticket takers, chain gang, and referees for games.

Pembina County Public Health will be conducting vision and hearing screenings at Drayton Public School on Tuesday, September 19th. Vision screenings will be done for students in preschool, kindergarten, grade 1, grade 3, and grade 5. Hearing screenings will be done for preschool students. Referral forms for students who did not pass the screenings will be sent home with students. If you do not want your child to participate in the screenings, please contact the school. Thank you!

Message to parents.
You may be eligible to receive P-EBT benefits for your school-aged children this summer. Children who received free or reduced-price lunch through the National School Lunch Program and were attending school at the end of the 22-23 school year. If your children are not currently eligible but might be for the 2023-2024 school year, you are encouraged to complete the P-EBT application and submit a Free/Reduced-Price application by August 25, 2023. Contact the school where your children will be attending for an application form.
This year parents/guardians must complete an application to receive Summer P-EBT. The application can be completed online at https://ndsummerebt.nd.gov/
