The JH GBB tourney in Cavalier on February 2nd and 3rd has been canceled.
Pembina County Public Health will be at our school on Tuesday, March 5 to provide our 6th and 10th graders with their vaccines required for next school year. They will also provide puberty/hygiene education to our 5th grade girls and 6th grade boys. Permission forms for all services will be sent home with students to whom this applies. If your student is not in these grades and is in need of a vaccine, please call 701-265-4248 to arrange for an appointment that day if you desire!
Congratulations to the following students for competing in the Drayton Spelling Bee, held Tuesday, January 16. Representing 6th Grade: Shawn, Rylan, and Levi; 7th Grade: Aleah, Hailey, and Braden; 8th Grade: Khloe, Lucas, and Peyton. Drayton's top three competitors will advance to the Pembina County Spelling Bee, to be held February 13 in Cavalier. The champion of this year's Spelling Bee was 8th Grader, Khloe Hart. Finishing in a close second place was 6th Grader, Levi Detwiler. Earning a third place finish was 8th Grader, Lucas De Souza. Congratulations to all!
One way that we prioritize healthy behaviors for our students at DPS is providing access to positive mental health experiences such as Gracie the Therapy Dog!
