Elementary Teacher
Drayton Public School is seeking a first grade elementary teacher and a sixth grade elementary teacher to join our team. The ideal candidates will inspire young learners through engaging instruction, a supportive classroom environment, and a strong commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state and district standards
Foster a positive and safe learning environment
Assess and monitor student progress and provide support
Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education
Valid teaching certification for elementary education (required)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for working with young children and helping them grow academically and socially

Paraprofessional:
Drayton School seeks a paraprofessional to make a positive difference in students' lives! Hours are flexible (work 2-5 days a week), and training will be provided. We ask that the applicant be excited to work with students, reliable, and flexible with job duty assignments. The role requires a high school diploma. Every day is a new adventure when you invest your talents in children! Please note that there are ongoing opportunities in the state for para-to-special education teacher programs available.

Head Custodian:
Drayton Public School is looking for a head custodian. See the job duties below. The benefits are a full single health plan, ND Pers, 10 sick days and 5 personal days. The job is open until filled. This is a year-round position.
Custodian Daily Duties and Responsibilities
Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
Performs routine maintenance activities.
Performs heavy cleaning duties.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
Gathers and empties trash.
Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
Shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs.
Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
Drives vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including industrial trucks, vans, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Custodian Qualifications / Skills:
Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours
Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time
Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals
Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules
Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work at particular heights
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math skill
